7 Tips to Consider When Buying Bunk Beds
There is no child in this world who has not fantasized about owning bunk beds. Feeling cozy in the bottom bunk or adventurous in the top one, either way a child would enjoy sleeping in it. Parents, on the other hand, are more cautious about the dangers of having bunk beds that could expose the child to mild dangers. If, as a parent, you overcome your fears here are some tips to help you decide to fulfill your children's fantasies.
1. Think of investing the money for a longer period of time, as in the case of any type of bedroom furniture. Your sons or daughters might get bored of sleeping in a bunk bed. Fantasy is always more pleasant than reality. Moreover, they grow up so fast, the bed could become useless in no time.
2. One of the most interesting things about choosing a bunk bed could be selecting a theme for it, a popular movie or book can be the inspiration. Some of the products on the market will make you think of a castle with watch towers, or a car garage, a slide, a tent or, for the more practical of us, some beds incorporate desks.
3. You decided to indulge your children, but are still a little worried. Guardrails should be something to take precautions about. If one side of the bed is against the wall, the open side will be protected by a guardrail. There are models with guardrails on all four sides for the most cautious among us. Measure distances to the bed frames and be sure to choose the model that offers the most protection.

7. A good option is to buy beds that can be separated, should the children decide they are past the bunk bed stage. Lights should be considered too, and positioning them next to the bed is necessary so that it can be conveniently switched on or off. And one last thing, it would be wise for children smaller than six to sleep in the bottom bunk.
Your child should be part of the decision, since it is his bedroom furniture you are buying, even if the final word belongs to you. Once you take all the right decisions, you will be able to offer your children an adventure every night they go to sleep in their new bunk beds.
