How do you install a Control Transformer for a Furnace?
I have a 120/208/240 secondary 24 volt transformer I am trying to install. On one side of the transformer I have Black, White, Red and Orange wires...I’m just going to connect the Black to Black and White to White, and just ignore the red and orange since this is for different voltages.
On the other side of the transformer there are blue and yellow wires...one wire needs to go to the limiter and the other to the gas control valve, I just don't know which, or if it even matter. It might not matter since both wires were white before.
24 volt low voltage. dont matter i put them in for years only time i color code is wire to wire if marked
