what kind of embedding resin do i need to use??
is epoxy resin, acrylic resin, or lucite, appropriate for embedding photos? is there something that would work better? i just want to embed the photos in a clear block.
i want to make something like the things on this site... on a larger scale

is this feasible/possible to do myself? i'd like to do it cheaply if possible.
Use epoxy casting resin. You'll need a mold, but it shouldn't be that difficult as long as you know what you're doing.
